Heart and Soul Art Showcase

This Saturday (May 1st) Candy Pants are excited to be participating in this fundraiser for Covenant House. The event is called Heart & Soul and it’s showcasing at the Hart Room in the University of Toronto. Some of the (earth friendly) undies have been donated to the silent auction and I will be there offering a variety of bamboo styles for sale with 50% of the proceeds being donated to the cause. Covenant House is Canada’s largest youth shelter which “opens doors of opportunity and hope for our homeless youth.”

Great times at the One Of a Kind

Spring is in the air and the annual One of a Kind spring show and sale has closed its doors until Christmas. This year Candy Pants were featured at the Ryerson School of Fashion’s set up. Response was amazing and I had a wonderful time meeting shoppers and fellow vendors. As a result, I’ve been asked to participate in the ‘Heart and Soul’ fundraiser for Covenant House. A pack of embellished earth-friendly undies will be up for auction at the event and I might even be there selling what i can to help the cause. So here we are. The summer passed way to quickly, autumn is almost over, and winter here we come. The past few months brought some great things including a ‘Summer Company‘ grant from the city of Toronto, my entrance into the artists circle at Shopgirls Gallery-Boutique, and SIX retail locations now carrying the line. The website is finally ready so take a look around and let me know what you think.
